Press Release: Nexbelt® “The Fastest Growing Belt in Golf” @Nexbelt

Nexbelt® Tour Staff Professional, Marc Leishman, captures a wire-to-wire victory at
the BMW Championship
(RANCHO CUCAMONGA) – Nexbelt®, “The Fastest Growing Belt in Golf”, announced today that Nexbelt Tour Staff Professional, Marc Leishman, won the BMW Championship, held at Conway Farms in Lake Forest, Illinois this past weekend.

Two weeks after finishing T-3rd at the Dell Technologies Championship, Leishman, bounced back to lead wire-to-wire at the third FedEx Cup playoff event of the season.
Leishman wears the X-Factor Golf Series belt on Tour which features Nexbelt’s patented flip down face and hidden ball marker.
Leishman fired rounds of 62, 64, 68 and 67 to grab a five-stroke victory over the field. This was his third time winning on the PGA Tour and he is now ranked 4th on the FedEx Cup Points List going into the Players Championship, the final event of the season, that will determine who becomes the 2017 FedEx Cup Champion.
“Watching Marc’s wife Audrey cheer her husband on to victory Sunday at the BMW Championship with their 2-month-old baby in her arms was by far the most rewarding part of this victory,” said Eddie Rowland, Co-Founder of Nexbelt. “You’d never know the dire situation she faced just two years ago. It’s a testament to how strong a family bond they have and I couldn’t be happier for Marc and all his success.”
Two years ago, Leishman rushed home from Augusta National where he was preparing for the Masters as his wife, Audrey, was facing a diagnosis of sepsis, a life-threatening compilation of bacterial infections that caused doctors to induce a coma. She was given just a 5 percent chance of survival.
“I think when things are good and settled in your personal life, it makes it easier to perform in your professional life,” said Audrey Leishman while her husband was being congratulated by fellow players. “We’ve had a great year personally, professionally. We’re really happy and blessed.”
