TWO GUYS WITH BALLS REVIEW @2GUYSWITHBALLS

The one piece of golf equipment you use on evert shot, as you’ve heard, is the ball and nine times out of ten it is also the only piece of equipment you put in the water. The guys at Two Guy With Balls can make losing those ProV1s a lot easier on your golfing budget.

They have widened the sweet spot on affordable pro line golf balls with their grading system that simplifies things, no AAA, AAAA+ or WTF, just easy golf talk EAGLE, BIRDIE and PAR.

They sent me a few Titleist AVX, my favorite golf ball, in of each grade and I could have put the “Eagle” balls in a sleeve and no one would know they were used golf balls. But I like a good deal and I let everybody know when I find one. A dozen mint condition AVX balls for $24.99 is a good deal and under $15 for the “Par’ grade makes the lake on the par 3 #8 no big deal.

Two Guys With Balls’ Grading Description

Eagle

These balls will have the performance and feel similar to a new ball. It may have the smallest of scuff marks, but these will have no impact on ball flight and performance. Eagle grade balls will NEVER be refurbished, x-out, or practice. They may have player markings, some cosmetic discolorations or blemishes, team or company logos BUT those will never affect ball performance. Our primary consideration in the grading process for Eagle grade balls will be to ensure that performance and ball flight is the same as a brand new ball. Eagle grade balls are recommended for low handicap players and/or for playing a competitive round of golf.
Compare to Mint, 5A, AAAAA, A Quality.
A note on discoloration: Some brands/models are more prone to discoloration than others. For example, Bridgestone B330 / B series, Callaway and TaylorMade soft cover balls being some of the worst offenders. We do include these balls in Eagle grade after carefully inspecting the cover to confirm the discoloration is purely cosmetic AND the performance will be exactly the same as a new ball.

Birdie

These balls are still in good playable condition! They may have some imperfections or small scuff marks which have little to no impact on performance. These balls could have some blemishes or discoloration and may have player markings, team or company logos. Higher grade practice balls may be included, but NO x-out, refurbished or refinished. Birdie grade balls are recommended for moderate to high handicap golfers.
Compare to Near Mint, 4A, AAAA, B Quality.

Par
These balls are definitely playable but will have noticeable imperfections and may affect ball flight. These balls may also have faded or missing logos, noticeable scuffs, and severe discoloration as well as player markings, team or company logos, x-out, refinished/refurbished or practice. These balls are great for high handicap golfers and for practice rounds.
