Martini Tee Golf Tees

As it is with all things golf equipment golf tee can be found with many different design configurations. The Martini Tee, made in the USA, made from a “proprietary polymer resin blend” has an oversized cup making it look like a cocktail glass, hence the name.

“Martini® Golf Tees: The only Martini that will improve your driving!”

They are available in three sizes 2”, 2¾”, and 3¼”. Martini Tee also offers a “Step-Up Tee” that is 3¼” long to help keep your tee height consistence. These golf tees come in a variety of colors making it easy to fit your ‘golf style.’ The full line of Martini Tees conforms to the Rules of Golf.

After using the Martini Tee at the driving range and a few rounds of golf, I’ve yet to notice any damage to the tees. The large cup makes tee the golf ball very easy, even in hard ground. One noticeable benefit I found that Martini Tee doesn’t mention is how the bright color and the oversized cup make them easily found when they come out of the ground.

The price of the Martini Tees may put many golfers off, costing the same for a pack of 5 as 100 wooden tees.

Martini Tees have been used on the PGA Championships Tour and the LPGA tour.

Martini Tees say their tees have been proven to produce longer and straighter drives by Independent laboratory testing. Their website states the Martini Tees last 40 to 50 rounds of golf with unofficial reports of 300 rounds out of the same tee. I haven’t done enough testing of the product to confirm or debunk any of these clams. I will, however update this post as things progress.

Longer Drives:

“Independent laboratory testing proves that Martini Tees give you drives that are both farther and a straighter, compared to wooden tees.”

Durability:

“They usually last 40 to 50 rounds; not holes; rounds. The verified record is 200 rounds, but we’re had unofficial reports of people playing the same tee for 300 rounds.”

The Bottom Line:

I use them on every tee box.
